Basaksehir Medical City

The medical city of Basaksehir is considered the biggest of its kind in Europe, and until today 55% of its construction process have been done.

Its whole space area is one million m2 which contains 8 different buildings, each one of them is a full specialized hospital (Pediatric Hospital, Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, Oncology Hospital, Neurology Hospital, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation).

And the total number of beds in these hospitals will be 2682 in addition to 89 operation rooms.

The main building of this medical city is one of the biggest earthquake resistant buildings in the world, and that’s due to the 2068 Seismic insulators it has and which supports the rafts of the buildings,

And the amount of iron which is used in the construction of this facility is 95 thousand tons.

The Medical city of Basaksehir is considered one of the most important infrastructure projects in Istanbul city that we’ll make a noticeable success and development in the Medical sector in Turkey.
