15 billion dollars' worth of Turkish exports last September
The value of Turkish exports of products and goods exceeded 15 billion US dollars in September, as the Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said.
This came at a press conference of the Turkish Minister of Trade in which he said that September exports witnessed an increase of 15.7% on a monthly basis compared with last August
The value of Turkey's exports during the first nine months of this year amounted to 132 billion and 505 million dollars, up 2.5 percent year-on-year.
Turkey's imports in September amounted to 16.996 billion dollars.
It is worth mentioning as well that the Turkish economy has witnessed great prosperity in recent years, and Turkey has achieved qualitative leaps in the economic field, as it has followed a successful foreign economic policy and increased the volume of trade exchange between it and the European, Arab, Asian and African countries.
The Turkish government has attracted foreign investments to the country by encouraging foreign businessmen and investors with all these types of facilities.
