Cappadocia is considered one of the most famous Turkish cities with natural, historical and archaeological monuments, as it included many unique monuments, so It was placed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

The city of Cappadocia has a long history dating back to the third millennium BC. Cappadocia was the cradle of many civilizations such as the Persians, Hittites, Assyrians, and Greeks.

The Armenians settled in the Medieval in Cappadocia during the Byzantine era, as it was considered one of the most important Christian shelters. These Armenians built churches in the city's caves to hide from the Byzantines who were fighting the Christian religion.
