Istanbul to host the seventh Bosporus International Film Festival
From 18-25 October, the Turkish city of Istanbul will host the seventh edition of the Bosporus International Film Festival, organized by the Bosporus Film Society and sponsored by the Anadolu Agency as the global media partner.
The festival will feature 38 films from 25 countries.
At a press conference, the director of the festival, OĞUN ŞANLI, said that the Bosporus Film Festival has become one of the most important local and international events in the field of cinema.
He added that they feel proud to host the most important and biggest names in the world of cinema.
ŞANLI also noted that 58 feature films have applied to participate in the festival in the category of local films, and 1,696 films from 114 countries submitted applications to participate in the category of international films, and pointed out that the movies will be shown in the halls of the cinema Atlas, Beyoğlu, and Kadiköy in #Istanbul throughout the Period between 18-25 October.
It is worth mentioning in this context, that the city of Istanbul is now hosting the most important and the largest cultural and economic events of international festivals and exhibitions, and the ancient city has been able to attract intellectuals from the followers of international events, businessmen and investors to participate in exhibitions and events hosted by #Istanbul throughout the year.
